Suburban Mountain Lion
An installation at MACLA in San Jose, inspired by a rather sad event in my neighborhood in Redwood City: a mountain lion found herself in someone’s backyard and it was unceremoniously shot by the authorities. The lion was shot because it “hissed” as it was cornered. A very sad event.
